78 milhões de SMS passaram pela TMN

A rede da TMN processou mais de 78 milhões de SMS, entre 30 de Dezembro e 01 de Janeiro, o que representa um aumento de 10% face ao mesmo período do ano passado, revelou o operador em comunicado.

O dia com maior volume de tráfego foi 31 de Dezembro, altura em que se registaram mais de 43 milhões de SMS. E o pico de tráfego SMS ocorreu entre as 19 horas do dia 31 de Dezembro de 2005 e as 0h30 do dia 01 de Janeiro de 2006.

A TMN considera que as mensagens multimédia têm uma importância crescente entre os utilizadores, tendo por base o valor registado nesta quadra festiva: entre as datas assinaladas, foram processados na rede do operador móvel da PT 848 mil MMS, mais 269% do que o registado em 2004, no mesmo período.
